J.D. Grimes on "[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] WordPress database error when using prefix other than "wp_""

I'm getting this error:

[08-Apr-2013 13:48:12 UTC] WordPress database error Table 'mytable.wp_users' doesn't exist for query SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_users INNER JOIN wp_usermeta ON (wp_users.ID = wp_usermeta.user_id) WHERE 1 = 1 AND ( wp_usermeta.meta_key = 'wp_1_capabilities' ) made by do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, Yoast_Tracking->tracking

The problem is that you forgot to use $wpdb->prefix to get the real database prefix, instead of just assuming that that it was wp_.

The problem code is in /inc/class-tracking.php on line 113

I'm having database problems on my site. The MySQL function in the CPanel says the database is fine, and WP DB Manager also gives the thumbs-up.

But still it takes forever to load my dashboard and even longer to load specific parts of it, such as Jetpack site stats or the Broken Link Checker.

When the site gives up loading the page, it either gives a 404 error (although the page still exists, and I do load it eventually) or a 504 Nginx error.

When I look at my database, I can see tables there that relate to plugins I deleted, and I want to drop the tables, hoping that might solve my problem. But there are some tables there that I don't know what they're for.

The one I'm questioning is 15 tables starting with the prefix wt_ and followed by such things as "control," "high crunch," "node," "node relationship." I think this goes back to something I experimented with a few years ago, called Trail -- now defunct.

But in general, if anyone knows where to find titles of database tables for a plugin, that would be a big help.

Thanks.

I am trying to move a site from one host to another. With the current host I do not have access to the cPanel so I used WP-DB-Backup to create a database file. When I import to our new host I am getting the following error:

Error
SQL query:

INSERT INTO wp_options
VALUES ( 2888629, '_transient_timeout_wpsc_customer_meta__sQpyQE)8XaDM', '1393320664', 'no' ) ;

MySQL said: Documentation

#1062 - Duplicate entry '2888629' for key 'PRIMARY'

I am unsure what to do at this point? I have tried dumping ALL of the database files and starting from an empty database but still a no go.

I am losing time and money with NextGen 2.0.57.

I deactivated all of my plugins then reactivated W3 Cache and NextGen. That's all I have running. Working anywhere in the dashboard is painfully slow and every 1/2 hour or so, (3 hours into this today) the pages just return "Error Contacting Database".
Last night, I rolled back to 1.9.3 but when trying to insert a gallery into a page, the gallery drop down box was not populating, so I couldn't use that version either.
I am running the newest version of Photocrati.

What can I do to at least move forward in a productive, stress-free NextGen environment?

Thanks in advance -

My client's form requires 120+ fields. The client was able to create all but the last 4-5 fields, but now when the form is updated, the submit button results in a 404 page and the form is not updated.

Here is what I have done thus far: I changed the theme to TwenyFourteen. I changed the permalink settings from Custom to Numeric. I disabled all of the plugins via FTP by moving them into a sub-folder. I changed the .htaccess file to allow for more form submissions. I created a php.ini file to allow for more form submissions. I contacted GoDaddy and their tech support people informed me that the form field submission limit was far above anything that would be of concern. I deleted the plug-in and installed a previous version - in this version, I created a form with four fields and attempted to save it - and got the very same 404 error. I deleted WordPress (other than wp-content folder and wp-config.php) and then uploaded all new files.

I then went to tools and created a back-up of the settings. I then restored these settings. After doing this, I tried to repeat this action, but now ALL of the tools also cause the same 404 error.

Anyway, it seems that there is a bug in my database in relation to si contact form (maybe?). Anyway, I am out of ideas! Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

I'm having some issues with one of the (many) Wordfence installs I admin.
(Related: Props for an OUTSTANDING tool. Really, thank you)

It's a recent addition to this particular site, and install went (seemed to, anyway) without errors, but immediately after the first scan, I received this message:
DataTables warning (table id = 'wfissuesTable_new'): Added data (size undefined) does not match known number of columns (2)
The mail fired off just fine. Examining the table showed no data, despite 47 problems reported (mostly weak user passwords)
Long story short, uninstalled plugin, dropped tables, installed fresh copy of plugin, setup options, saved (NB, in that it went well), ran scan. Same error. (DataTable warning)
On examination table has data (44, I fixed some issues after run 1)

Left it to run, while I think about what's going on. Had a lot of (all) mail-me-when options ticked. This morning went to uncheck some, and notice that the save options spinner does not end. After a couple of minutes, refreshed page to find changes not saved. Clearly other tables are damaged and the "save options" operation is not as well error-trapped as it could be :)

So, the question: Are there known instances of a pre-existing malware infection protecting itself against a new Wordfence install? Mashing the tables seems like a likely target for such a defence effort, yes? Not too stealthy, but...

Or am I just dealing with a set of data that may have been "stepped on" once too many on the past? Solution: Create new duplicate database, import data (risking importing the breaks) and switch the install over?

Any suggestions welcome. Ta.

I downloaded and installed this plugin and so far it seems to work fine. The site already had a bunch of groups so I went back and retroactively set the default email setting for the group and applied it to all the members of each group. This worked for about 10 groups. However, for one of the groups (the last one, of course) I encountered this error:

WordPress database error: [Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet']
UPDATE wp_bp_groups_groupmeta SET meta_value = [followed by a long string of alphanumeric characters]

The email still works for the other groups. Just this one group gets the error message and I am unable to change the email setting for anyone in that group.

Any ideas?

All the groups were created with BP 1.8 but we're currently using BP 1.9.2.

I was trying to install options.php to customize my website. Its on my local pc. I just installed the plugin calls options framework. Then I checked theme option but didnt find any new option there. I have to say that I am using Kent theme and the theme says it supports options framework.

However then I red a blog and in the blog author said I have to copy option check file from github and then paste it into option of appearance>editor. I copied option check file and pasted it inside of option section of appearance>editor. And bang!!! I see this message...

http://i1359.photobucket.com/albums/q793/socialdemon2/2014-04-0201-37-27_zps46e3cd18.jpeg

Now I tried to cut the newly pasted block and get back the website as its previous state. But nothing is working. Everytime I want to login to the website I see the same message...

Hi,

I've got a problem when adding banners to the site I am working on. Currently I'm running on localhost (as it's in development).

When I try to ad a banner it says it added it, but the banner doesn't appear in the banner list. When I check my wp error logs, it says...

WordPress database error Field 'banner_edited_by' doesn't have a default value for query INSERT INTOghsdu_useful_banner_manager_banners(banner_name,banner_type,banner_title,banner_alt,banner_link,link_target,link_rel,banner_width,banner_height,added_date,active_until,banner_order,wrapper_id,wrapper_class,is_visible,banner_added_by) VALUES ('ecs','png','East Coast Sports','East Cost Sports Topsail, NC','http://eastcoastsports.com/','_blank','dofollow','200','137','2014-04-08','-1','0','','atwkslider','yes','kmt-admin') made by include('C:\inetpub\wwwroot\RaleighKMT\wp-content\plugins\useful-banner-manager\useful-banner-manager-banners.php'), useful_banner_manager_add_banner

It appears it's looking for a default value for the 'banner_edited_by' field, and it just doesn't exist in the DB.

I'm running:
Wordpress 3.8.2
XAMPP 1.8.2
Windows 8.1 64 bit.
PHP 5.4.25
MySQL 5.6

I can easily add a default value to that column, but I haven't seen this error listed here or anywhere on Google, so I'm assuming that I've configured something wrong. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks!

Yesterday I recognized an error message at the top of each page:

"WordPress-Datenbank-Fehler Table 'db23894.wp_iwp_redirects' doesn't exist für Abfrage SELECT redirectLink FROM wp_iwp_redirects WHERE oldLink = 'http://schueler.ws' LIMIT 1 von require('wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('wp-includes/template-loader.php'), include('/themes/twentyten/page.php'), get_header, locate_template, load_template, require_once('/themes/twentyten/header.php'), wp_head, do_action('wp_head'), call_user_func_array, iwp_mmb_check_redirects "

It can be viewed at my webpage: http://schueler.ws

Some days ago there was an autmatic update to 3.8.2 and I changed the color theme of the dashboard. Other changes haven't been made. Unfoutunately I cannot exactly say, since when the error has come.

I tried another theme (twentyeleven instead of twentyten), tries to deactivate various suspected plugins but nothing helps.

A Google search shows that there are many other pages with this error message.

Has anyone an idea?

So I am running into a database error that I just can't seem to figure out. The site runs fine 99% of the time, I have no problem adding posts and pages, but every once in a while I get a database error. Rebooting Apache from the command line (Ubuntu 12.04) fixes it and everything goes back to normal. Sometimes the error happens when I am actively working on the site, sometimes when I wake up in the morning it is already down. There is minimal traffic to my site right now.

Everything I have found online points toward a wpconfig problem, but could this really be the case since I usually have zero problems publishing posts, adding media, pages, etc?

My website http://www.techatlast.com went offline immediately I moved from my former host, iFastnet to Bluehost. I paid the guys at BH to do the migration but they didn't do a clean job, which eventually corrupted the database somehow.

Ever since then, the site will be available now and few milliseconds again, you won't see it online again.

I've called BlueHost on this, they said it is not part of their Migration which is totally bad, they didn't deliver the order at all.

Likewise the guys at MAXCDN have done their part by installing CDN to boost the site but still nothing seems to work. But they referred me here http://gtmetrix.com/reports/techatlast.com/R0BJRyzT in which I did and I started applying few recommendations to some images on the site.

But when it comes to Defer parsing of JavaScript, Specify a character set early, Leverage browser caching, Avoid a character set in the meta tag, Remove query strings from static resources, Serve resources from a consistent URL, and Optimize images; I found myself in a big mess. I cannot do anything to reverse the incident.

Can somebody come to my help?

Thank you very much.

when I visit my site at http://parr.org, I get the following error

...and nothing else.

The site has been running for years with this setup and was running fine within the last week and I'm not aware of any changes to the system. The site is on Dreamhost.

I can check the database on Dreamhost, but I'm not sure what the database is for this site. Is there are file where that information is stored on the system? Any other thoughts for troubleshooting this issue?

I'm attempting to install a WP site to a local host that I had backed up from an automated backup plugin. I've had this site backed up on a hard drive since mid 2012 and would like to install it to a subdomain as an example of work. Unfortunately, I backed this site up before I knew anything about databases and how to migrate WP from one server (or a local host) to another server. I am now comfortable with that process. However, I seem to be having some difficulty establishing a database that is recognized by MAMP.

So far I have downloaded and installed WP to my local host.
I do have the original database name, UN, PW as retrieved from the wp-config.php file.
Unfortunately, this site is no longer available on a live server. I am only working with the downloaded WP files.
