I installed SEO ultimate with WP Job Manager and after installation my users could register accounts, but couldn't create resumes, jobs or check out from the cart. The following error appears:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

cnick on "frequently getting "Error establishing a database connection""

On my site motivational stories I'am getting this "Error establishing a database connection" error after every 5-6 min.I thing this may have to do with my up-gradation from shared to VPS servers.
So my question is,did any one of you had similar problem after change of servers??How did you troubleshoot it.
Does it had to do with high traffic or RAM usage??

Note:All domain's are giving same error.
My host did some database synchronization which ofcourse didn't worked.
I didn't had any problems with my old shared hosting.

I get a database error when trying to access my websites through "www" when the domain in Wordpress is set to without "www".

domain.com (Works)
http://www.domain.com (Could not connect to database)

If I set "www" in my default domain the "domain.com" is getting the database error.

If i disable the plugin and enable it again, both domains works. But I need a more sustainable solution.

I get these problems on multiple sites using the Quick Cache plugin, so it's not a one time problem.

Anyone got any ideas on this?

I have followed all the instructions but still get the following error message:

WordPress database error: [Table 'XXX_XXXX.wp_wslusersprofiles' doesn't exist]
SELECT id, object_sha FROM wp_wslusersprofiles where user_id = 22 and provider = 'LinkedIn'

Can someone help?

As above. Any one knows how to solve this? Restored the site via Vaultpress, but still can't find the error. :(

Have upgraded to latest version, since it's first day of release.

Recently only noted a member's site was giving "Database Error" and shows "Error establishing a database connection" when access, but yet others under same WPMS is still working flawlessly.

Checked every part and found there is a fail during perform Network Upgrade. Whenever reached to the batch of this member belongs, it stopped and show message:

Warning! Problem updating . Your server may not be able to connect to sites running on it. Error message: A valid URL was not provided.

I really don't have idea where should I fix. Hopefully can have somebody here can give me a guide.

When anyone clicks on the Facebook share button for my most recent post, the Sharing dialogue box opens but where you would expect to find the thumbnail and the post excerpt, it says "Database Error".

It's only for this post and it happens on multi- and single-post pages. The post slug seems correct. All of the other share buttons are working perfectly.

I have had a few issues with WP clone although so far it has eventually worked.

Just some suggestions that have worked for me in different situations

1) Try deleting the wp clone plugin and then re-uploading it from the repository. This has fixed issues a couple of times for me

2) For problems with a restored site Check Settings > Media If there is a file path showing in the uploads field, try deleting it and save

3) For SQL gone away errors when you are trying to make a backup use Advanced options and put 1000 in the script execution time box.

Please note that I an not expert - just found these solutions over time with the help of googling and felt it might be useful to share here.

They worked for me but no warranties or guarantees folks :-)

I use version 2.1.2, WP 4.1 on windows, seerver2003, Apache, MySql, PHP.
When I try to upload a few images, nothing happens; When I close the media library window and return to my post, WP says it's disconnected. I have to restart Apache and MySql before I have access again.
I have activated debug mode, but didn't find any debug log.
This is what I find in the Apache log:

Hi,

this is my first attempt and "cry" for help in this forum. My problems, as the title clearly states, are:

1. I don't have access to my website anymore, it just says "Error establishing a database connection";
2. I tried to repair and optimize the database, and the result is this message: " Failed to repair the xto_options table. Error: File './alinever_wor3/xto_options.MYD' not found (Errcode: 2)"

After the 4.1 WP update as well as to all the other plugins I have, I posted on my blog last Friday (dec. 19 2014) and everything worked just fine until the next day (dec. 20 2014), when I tried to connect and saw the message in point 1 on my homepage. I contacted my hosting provider (they say it's a coding error and they don't manage that) as well as the theme creator (who still hasn't replied).

Thank you for your assistance and attempt to help me.

Got the following after upgrading to verion 0.5.1
This is on a local site running on MAMP Pro, does not seemed to have broke anything, just warnings of duplicate columns in the DB.

I loaded my WP Admin screen and got a message that said 'database error' and you could repair it by selecting a button to repair. After it ran, I got the following messages with instructions to cut and paste it in a WP Support Forum:

wp_users: 25 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_usermeta: 25 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_posts: 17 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_comments: 11 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_options: Table is marked as crashed
wp_postmeta: 24 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_terms: 8 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_term_taxonomy: 24 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_term_relationships: 24 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly
wp_commentmeta: 11 clients are using or haven't closed the table properly

Is there anything I need to do to clear this?

Hii,

I got an SSL Certificate for my website about a month ago, but I'm having some problems to get the url with the HTTPS instead of the HTTP, so today we tried by changing the site's URL by adding the HTTPS instead of the HTTP, and it appeared to be working without a problem, but right now when I try to get into my website I get this error: Error establishing a database connection and if I try to access to my dashboard I get the same problem.

I tried to add this:
define('WP_HOME','http://www.riskmexico.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','http://www.riskmexico.com');

to my wp-config file and add this to the functions:

update_option('siteurl','http://www.riskmexico.com');
update_option('home','http://www.riskmexico.com');

but nothing happened. I also tried with the relocate method but it didn't work. What else can I do? Please HELP!

This is only happening on a custom post type archive page, and attachment_type is obviously a custom taxonomy linked to the CPT.

This is causing an error of:

WordPress database error: [Not unique table/alias: 'wp_term_relationships'

The plugin is storing the database error page in a non-English locale. I believe it is easy to fix, would you guys mind to include the fix in the next release?

The function "w3_is_database_error" needs to be checking for
'<title>' . __('Database Error') . '</title>'
...rather than
'<title>Database Error</title>'

Good Morning Everyone,

I just moved our church's website to a new host and as expected things broken (bound to happen I know). One of the things that did not handle the transfer well was Sermon browser.

As of right now, the flash player, that used to show up when browsing to one of the sermons is not showing up and when I try to upload a new sermon I get the following errors:
